Talk:World 1 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)
No "you"s ever
Before the article goes any further, keep in mind that every use of the word "you" outside of quotes is a no-go! There's already an alarming amount of it in the first paragraph and I want to stop it before it becomes serious. - Gabumon(talk) 03:29, 19 November 2009 (EST)
- Thanks to Fawfulfury65 for correcting the first paragraph. Now please continue writing just like this, and everything will turn out just fine :3 - Gabumon(talk) 09:47, 21 November 2009 (EST)
p Mushroom Plains
That redirects here. Is that an official name? If so, both this article and the other NSMBW world articles be moved to those names? Hello, I'm Time Turner. Is there any reason this was moved back to the "World ..." title, but the name in the article remained "Mushroom Plains"? So what's the world called now?--vellidragon 10:20, 29 December 2009 (EST)
Names
Are the level names official or just conjectural? Supermariofan14
- That's what I've wanted to know too. They are never mentioned in the game and I don't think they are in the guide either. Fawfulfury65
- Time to tell about the new guide I have!!! Yes, it is for this game, and yes, I wanted to know why names are next to the levels. Those are not official, and neither is the Mushroom Plains, or Headstone Mountain, or any other world name. It's unofficial for sure, and it's not true what is written. Also, to add, the guidebook calls the airships as just Ship, and the fortresses as Tower. Baby
Lock
I think we should lock all the NSMBW world articles so that only autoconfirmed users could edit it. A lot of the "you"s are coming from new users who edit these pages, so locking it could make it easier to fix all those errors. After a week, new users should know the "no yous" rule, too. I also mentioned this on World 7's talk page, but I figured it would get more attention here. Fawfulfury65
- Yeah, we've been having a lot of noobish language. As long as I can edit these articles, I support you. Supermariofan14
I started the article, so I apologize for any grammatical failures. GamingGal9 (talk)
According to the edit history, the n00bspeak wasn't from me. And, about the world name, according to my beat-up NSMBW guide (written by Prima, for anyone wondering) which lived in a couch for 6 months thanks to my brother. Here is an excerpt from the book, on page 10, that refers to World 1: "This is Princess Peach's kingdom. Usually it's a peaceful world, but but when Bowser decides to start trouble, many of Mario's typical enemies come out to play. Expect to see Goombas and Koopas, mostly." It gives some useful information, but it only refers to it as Peach's kingdom. So does anyone else have guides? I'd recommend checking out the Nintendo site to see if they call World 1 anything. Or we can go by the guide.
1-4
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can hardly recognize the World 1-4 description as being . . . World 1-4. Mpeng (talk)
