“BACK TO ADVENTURE!”
Stuffwell, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Stuffwell is a living suitcase invented by Professor E. Gadd. He replaces the Suitcase from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He aids Mario, Baby Mario, Luigi, and Baby Luigi in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time by carrying their items, Cobalt Star Shards, Badges and Clothing as well as by translating what the Cobalt Star (Elder Princess Shroob) is saying. He often uses technobabble in his vocabulary, including made-up words such as "Nincompooter" and "Explanification." His catchphrase is, "BACK TO ADVENTURE!".

History

Stuffwell was invented by Professor E. Gadd prior to the events of the game. He helps Mario, Luigi and the babies by carrying their items and stuff and offers them hints as well. He also has a transmitter that allows him to talk to the Professor from afar, he uses this same transmitter to understand what The Cobalt Star is trying to say to them. He even uses a service warpulator to send them back in time if they hit a Save Album near the end of the game.

Stuffwell's Special Service Warpulator

The Warpulator is a time travel device that is "recombobulated" from the downloaded flight data of the Shroob Mother Ship by Stuffwell; it has the power to reverse the flow of time and send individuals to a predestined point (the last save point before finding Peach at the Shroob Castle), bringing with them all their current inventory and stats. The Warpulator is used only near the climax of the game, where the Mario brothers are trapped at a point of no return and must battle Princess Shroob and the bosses before her.

Other appearances

Stuffwell appears as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
