Template:Minigame-infobox Fuel Me Once (Can't Fuel Me! in PAL regions) is a General minigame played in Mario Party: Island Tour. Its North American name is a pun on the expression "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me", while its PAL name is a pun on the saying "Can't fool me."

Introduction

Blue Toad demonstrates how the game is played, landing on the "100" spot.

Gameplay

Fuel Me Once2.png

Players will see the fuel gauge of their respective jet pack on the bottom screen. The hand will start moving at a random speed. A few seconds later, the gauge is covered, so the players must keep track of the position and speed of the hand in order to stop it the closest possible to the 100 mark, pressing the A Button button. The one closest to the mark wins.

Ending

The characters ride their jet packs above a lake, landing on a spot according to their result.

Controls

  • A Button – Stop fueling

In-game text

  • RulesNTSC "Try to fill your jet pack with just enough fuel to land on the platform."
  • RulesPAL "Stop the meter at 100. The meter will be hidden while filling up, so you'll have to guess when it's at the right amount."
