Purple Coin Flip 'n' Sprint

Template:Missionbox Purple Coin Flip 'n' Sprint is the second mission of the Flip-Swap Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission can only be played if the player collected the Comet Medal in the previous mission and when there is a Prankster Comet in orbit. This mission's objective is to collect 100 Purple Coins.

Layout

The layout of the galaxy is largely the same from the previous mission. However, the Goombas and Octoombas are missing, and some Electric Fences and gaps are added. The player is given three minutes to collect all 100 Purple Coins that are spread around the galaxy, some of which are only collectable when the red platforms are active and some when the blue platforms are active. When all 100 Purple Coins are collected, the timer will stop and the Power Star will appear at the end of the galaxy.
