Chump Charity

Chump Charity is an event in Mario Party 8 that replaced the Last Five Turns Event from all the other games of the series. It takes place at the last five turns, and is hosted by MC Ballyhoo. First, like all games before, Ballyhoo gives out the current standings. Then, he gives the player in last place a piece of candy, or 30 coins. After that, his hat Big Top will shower the entire board with coins, placing a Coin Bag on Red Spaces, and 1 coin on every other (that a player is not on).

In Duel mode, there is an almost identical version of this event simply called Special Bonus. Here, MC gives out the standings, then lets the losing player use the dart wheel to get a prize. It could be candy, coins, or nothing at all.
