A Yellow Egg is a Yoshi Egg first found in Super Mario World. The egg hatches into a Baby Yellow Yoshi. Yellow Eggs also play an important role in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. If a Green Egg recoils once off a wall, it turns into a Yellow Egg. Yellow Eggs can also be obtained from yellow Egg Blocks, though unlike the green Egg Block, Yoshi only gets one egg. When Yellow Eggs hit an enemy, one Coin appears.
