• Monchee, monkey characters that appear in Game Boy Donkey Kong and Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
• The Kong Family, mostly comprised of apes but also welcoming monkeys to the clan such as Diddy Kong.
• Ukiki - A recurring monkey species also known as simply "monkey" from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
• Minkey, an enemy that appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land III.
