Club Nintendo is a service currently operating in Japan, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, South Africa, Russia, and in Australia. It has been discontinued in North America on June 30, 2015. Members receive points for registering Nintendo products, which can then be redeemed for Nintendo-themed merchandise.

On September 30, 2015, Club Nintendo will be discontinued worldwide.[1] A new membership program was also announced to replace Club Nintendo in the same year. The ability to add physical game codes for points expired in North America on March 31st, 2015, and the program there is now defunct.
