Poltergust

In the Mario series, Professor Elvin Gadd has created a number of inventions. One of his projects is the Poltergust, a type of vacuum specifically designed to suck up Portrait Ghosts. E. Gadd has created four different versions of the Poltergust. They are listed as follows:

• Poltergust 3000 - The first version of the Poltergust ever created. It appears in Luigi's Mansion.
• Poltergust 4000 - A version of the Poltergust that is half kart and half vacuum. It appears in Mario Kart DS.
• Super Poltergust 3001 - The third version of the Poltergust. It appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
• Poltergust 5000 - The newest version of the Poltergust that appears in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
