Hello to you all, I'm Time Turner, and if you want to talk to me, I got a couple of rules for you first.
- Sign all of your comments so I know who left it.
- Spelling and grammar are prefered.
- I will reply to you on your talk page.
- Whenever starting a new conversation, put it under a new header.
- Just to let you know, I am a fan of numerous genres and forms of media, such as My Little Pony and Doctor Who. If that bothers you in a way that makes you feel the need to attempt to provoke me or otherwise instigate something, we're better off not talking.
Big Fire Piranha Plant
Hi Time Turner. I remembered you mentioned that you had the New Super Mario Bros. 2 eGuide, so if it's not an inconvenience, I would like to ask if you can please check something. Does it name this enemy Big Fire Piranha Plant or Big Venus Fire Trap, or neither as the case may be? LinkTheLefty (talk) 00:50, 6 May 2015 (EDT)
- Huh. Can you go ahead and add the page/tab reference over to that article? (It may have to be renamed to one of the alternate titles, since Big Fire Piranha Plant also isn't in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Prima guide, and it's such a rare enemy that I don't imagine it being identified by name anywhere else. The article was moved from Big Venus Fire Trap to Big Fire Piranha Plant to match its smaller species, even though that proposal wouldn't cover this). LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:50, 6 May 2015 (EDT)
Re:FX Badges
We have a lot of pages for minor RPG items, though, so I don't see why Attack FX Badges should be treated differently. Binarystep (talk) 21:18, 9 May 2015 (EDT)
Couleur
Désolé de t'embeter, j'ai un souci, il y a pas de couleur pour ma sig, montre tes codes de ta signature sa m'aidera peut être ! :-) --Captain Yoshi File:YoshiYellow-MK8.png 09:39, 16 May 2015 (EDT)
--Captain Yoshi File:YoshiYellow-MK8.png 12:16, 16 May 2015 (EDT)
Merluvlee prediction template?
Hey, Time Turner. AglT made this neat collapsible table for Merluvlee's predictions, but I'd like to turn it into a template for the badge pages (and same goes for my item drop tables, too).
Merluvlee's Prediction | |
---|---|
"I see...an All or Nothing Badge. It is for sale at the open-air shop in the plaza outside the castle gate." |
I'm not all too familiar with template building, but since you seem to have a grasp of them, maybe you could have a shot at this? --Zootalo (talk) 20:51, 17 May 2015 (EDT)
- Hmm, good point; I'll leave the predictions in the sections. And for that reason, I don't suppose my badge drop tables don't need that treatment either, huh (I'd do it to trim text characters, but the badge pages don't have that much text to begin with anyway. =P)? --Zootalo (talk) 21:08, 17 May 2015 (EDT)
Re:Names
Sure, I'd be happy to help out! I'll go down the list and point out any corrections, additions or otherwise points of interest in greater detail soon, but just a question about it first: I notice there's a fair amount of foreign names listed here. I know the purpose is to search official names, but perhaps this can be separated to make the tags clear? The overall goal may be the same, but the conjecture, partconjecture, refneeded and anotherlanguage templates would suggest there is different priority involved. LinkTheLefty (talk) 16:36, 18 May 2015 (EDT)
- Okay, fair enough. The reason I bring it up is because some of them are inevitably going to be fruitless, particularly the strictly Japan-only material such as the Mario & Wario names (of which there is much more stuff under the stage, block and enemy sections in that article). Possibly, we can at least rename those individual stage articles (for example, moving Balloon Bridge to "Level 7 (Mario & Wario)"), but doing so as things stand wouldn't be totally congruent with the areas which were reused later in the series (for instance, the eighth level area, Karakara Sabaku, was translated later on under the more familiar title of Dry Dry Desert), unless we decide to split off all the shared worlds. Anyway, I've added a reference for Buddy Barrel in the DK Barrel article, which I'm pretty sure is exclusive to Donkey Kong Land (most probably because the partner system works a little differently on Game Boy), so you can go ahead and cross that out. I'll get back to you with more.
P.S., regarding this - actually, that source only uses "Blurp" in reference to the overgrown Yoshi-eating fish, but it's never used to refer to the smaller ones which appear in a separate location, which are also included and grouped together in that article (in my opinion, rather haphazardly). I've added my preliminary thoughts on how to address this on the talk page wherein I kind of agree with Binarystep, but of course there is plenty of room for rethinking the best approach. Right now, I believe at the very least that the smaller "Blurp" needs to be booted out of the article, especially since we're talking about three very distinct enemies and it's barely covered.
P.P.S., regarding that - I don't think deity is quite the right word Goolgenerade was looking for, and from the revert, it seems you thought I was blanking it (correct me if I'm wrong); if it's not clear, (-) suggests it translates to the same thing as the article title, not a blank. It's used in other articles (like here), but looking closer, I don't think there's a formal rule on its application... So yeah, my intention was really to replace the word "Deity" with "Genie." Super Mario Kart
Why did you do that to Super Mario Kart? I thought it looked great when I did it because it was'nt as messy.

an apology
I am sorry for arguing with you like that about a project to which I didn't really contribute much. Another gossip-loving Toad (talk)
