Super Mario-Kun Pages
Hey there, just wanna say I'm very impressed by the work you're doing on those Super Mario-kun pages. --Glowsquid (talk) 16:32, 16 September 2014 (EDT)
- Ha, thanks! It's pretty tedious since I have to actually hold the book up and struggle through reading it while I edit; but it is fun! I just got back from a trip to Japan and purchase volumes 19 - 22 and 30 at a used book store while I was over there, so eventually I hope to have pages up for each of those (and buy more books when I can find them). I was also thinking about "scanlating" them but I guess that's legally questionable, so my summaries will have to do. It's probably for the best, trying to translate some of those puns is downright impossible. (O_o) —Embyr 75 --Talk-- 17:54, 16 September 2014 (EDT)
I like to chime in and say that your work is commendable, as coverage on this manga is quite thin, so any work dedicating to expanding it is appreciated! I've also been trying to upload some scanned images from the first volume to volume 30ish, although my sister and I own a physical copy of volume 23, 24, 36, and 40, and I wish to own several more in the future. But anyway, keep up the good work! You can also contribute in our forum thread, which has some several Super Mario-Kun.
About the scanlations, I wouldn't recommend uploading the images themselves. I do suggest, however, that you upload the original content and then add the translated dialogue in the file page. You might also like to consider this category of images just if you're curious of what's uploaded or not.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy your stay here! :D Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 19:58, 19 September 2014 (EDT)
