Dropchopper

Dropchopper is one of Luigi's Bros. Attack in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Luigi gets this Bros. Attack after gathering 10 Attack Pieces on Mount Pajamaja. It costs 7 BP to use this attack.

Upon using the attack, the Dropchopper will spawn in midair and begin floating. Tilting the 3DS will make the chopper move in the direction the handheld is tilted. Once the Dropchopper is above one of the bros, the player must press or , depending on which bro the chopper is above. Once Mario and Luigi have grabbed onto the Dropchopper, it will slowly rise into the air. The player can continue to tilt the 3DS to change the direction of the attack. Once the Dropchopper nears an enemy, a button, either A or B, has to be pressed. Doing so will cause the Bros. to unleash a devastating drill attack on the target enemies. The attack will fail if both Mario and Luigi cannot grab onto the chopper. Once the Bros. successfully finish the attack, a crosshair will come out and will damage any surrounding enemies. If only one Bro. is available to grab on the Dropchopper, the Bro. who didn't get on, will continue without any help. However, with only one Bro. on the chopper, the damage will be extremely weak.

The Dropchopper causes critical hits on enemies and bosses that are weak to jump attacks, such as Mammoshka and Dreamy Bowser.

Description

Tilt the 3DS left and right to pilot the craft once Mario and Luigi grab on. Jump up with the A and B buttons! If you grab on quickly, you'll fly higher. Press the prompted button when you're above a foe for a devastating slam!
