The Master Poet is a Toad who hangs out in Club 64 to be near his love, Chanterelle (not that she knows this) in the game Paper Mario. When Chanterelle loses her voice, the Master Poet writes a special song for her, which Mario takes to the Toad of the Desert for a matching melody.
