Tackle Takedown is a 1-vs-Rivals minigame featured in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The vehicles approach the starting line, and the camera zooms out slightly.
Gameplay
Both the rivals and the solo player attempt to be the first to the finish line by pressing the indicated buttons. The solo player moves by correctly pressing the 
in the right direction four times. The rivals move by one-by-one pressing the correct button. If an incorrect button is correct, that series of buttons must be restarted. Five correct sequences are required to win.
Trivia
- This game is similar to Hop-O-Matic 4000 from Mario Party 7.
