Wuhu Island
Wuhu Island is a large, tropical, tourist-filled island, inhabited by Miis and located in the Pacific Ocean that appears in some popular Nintendo games, including Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort, and Pilotwings Resort. It also appears in two tracks in Mario Kart 7. The tracks include Wuhu Island Loop, which has the drivers race around the entire island and Wuhu Mountain Loop, which has the drivers race around and inside Maka Wuhu, the volcano on the island, as well as a Battle Stage, Wuhu Town, which allows the drivers to battle all around the town area of the island. However, it is not possible to drive over to New Town.
The Island Loop track takes place in the day, and the Maka Wuhu takes place in the evening, while Wuhu Town takes place at night, which are all three of the selectable times in the Island Flyovers of Wii Sports Resort and Pilotwings Resort. Wuhu Island also has a sister island known as Wedge Island where golfing activities take place in Wii Sports Resort. Apart from this it has many smaller deserted islands, two of which have fireworks shot from.
Overview of Map
Wuhu Island
This island, although relatively small, has alot of features, both natural and man-made, to suite many sporting activities. Wuhu Island can only be reached by ferry or sea plane, the latter being quite inconvenient considering Wuhu is found in the middle of the Pacific. The first thing you come across in Wuhu is their mini harbour and main town, which currently has no name. The harbour has a few wooden piers for docking speed boats and yachts, and a larger concrete higher pier for a ferry or cruise liner to dock with. Currently, the Queen Peach uses this docking pier.
