Pixl
Pixls are a ally species of Mario and company. They're first, and currently only, appearance is in Super Paper Mario. This this game, the Pixls teach Mario, Peach, Bowser, and an unknown characters special moves, like picking up people and throwing them. Nintendo Power volume 214 has stated that some Pixls will serve as explosives or act as a floating platform for Mario or another character to jump on. There are currently several known Pixls, but only two have an official names, which are Thoreau and Tippy. In many images, it is seen that a character has two Pixls out at one time.
Each Pixl is very bright and has it's own unique shape. Tippy looks like a butterfly and Thoreau is a square with five small circles on it's top half. One other Pixl that has been seen include a bright blue block with what seems to be eyes on top. The name of this Pixl, however, is currently unknown.
