Need Help?
Hello Goombs,
I'm Mariomario64, another user here on this wiki. I saw on your userpage that you needed help with something. I will be glad to help you out. Just put a response below this message. ! 19:10, 12 March 2011 (EST)
Well, the first question may not be user-page related but...
How do you put an image in a signature?
- Sorry I haven't been looking here in a while. Anyways, if you want do to something like that, you'll have to create a page for your sig:
- To create the page for your sig, click here. This will bring you to "User:Goombs/sig" and prompt you to create a new page.
- Start out with something like this: Goombs (talk) to get this: Goombs (talk)
- Now, getting to the part about the image. First, you're going to choose your image. I don't know if your username relates to a Goomba or something like that, but let's say you wanted a picture of one like this: File:Goombaaaahhh.PNG
- That picture is WAY too big for a sig, so instead of typing , type this: for a smaller image. File:Goombaaaahhh.PNG
- Now, for your sig, just add that text to the front or back of the sig. For example, type Goombs (talk) to get this: File:Goombaaaahhh.PNG Goombs (talk)
- The sig is done! Now to use the sig, go to here and scroll down to the heading titled "Signature". In the text box, type this:
- Make sure that the checkbox below that is checked, and save your preferences. Now, when adding comments on talkpages and stuff like that, type this: ~~~~ and your sig should be there, along with a timestamp.
