Planet Plantaen

Template:Levelbox Planet Plantaen is the homeworld of the Xananab, seen during the events of DK: Jungle Climber. This planet is banana shaped and is mostly forested with palm trees. There are many small villages with a great number of banana-shaped statues.

In the level Mini-Neckys and Zingers are found. This level also has a lot of pegs spinning around fast. After exploring a portion of the planet, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong and Xananab will encounter King K. Rool, and he will challenge them to a battle. When King K. Rool is defeated, he will give up the Crystal Banana and he uses the remaining Crystal Banana to power up to a large size. After defeating King K. Rool a second time, he will give up the final Crystal Banana.

• The name is likely derived from the term plantain, which in itself is a type of banana.
