Rolling Coaster Galaxy

Template:Galaxybox The Rolling Coaster Galaxy is one of the many galaxies found in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Like its name implies, this galaxy is like a roller coaster and, like in Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy, the player must roll a Star Ball to the end. Also, many Starshrooms appear along the way. It seems to be a reference to the Rainbow Road courses in the Mario Kart series. The name of the first mission in this galaxy confirms this.
A bit in the stage, the path splits to two. One of the Toads says that the right path is for experts. On the purple coins mission, the path for experts is the only path found. The only enemies found in this galaxy are Bob-ombs and Goombas.
Planets
Roller Coaster Planet
Not counting the Starshrooms, this is the only planet found in this galaxy. As its name implies, the planet is a big roller coaster that the player needs to use to break the Star Ball or the Purple Coin Ball. It is colored like a rainbow, and there are some wooden parts on it. There are also some rails. Only Bob-ombs and Goombas can be encountered on this planet. A Gearmo also lives on this planet.

Missions
The Rainbow Road Roll
To complete this mission, the player first needs to get the Star Ball at the entrance. Then, he has to use it to roll on the Rainbow Road. He must avoid falling or running into Bob-ombs. When he makes it at the end of the roller coaster, he'll find a green hole. He must put the Star Ball there to release the Power Star.

Purple Coins on the Rainbow Road
When the Prankster Comet has been unlocked, the player will find a Purple Coin Ball. He has to do the same thing as the first mission except he has to make sure he gets almost all of the Purple Coins found on the Roller Coaster Planet. There is a total of 110. If he collects them all within the time limit, including the one in the ball, and makes it to the end of this planet, a Gearmo will reward him with a Power Star.
