Chocolate Island 5 is a level from the game Super Mario World. This level has Spinies and many other things such as Coins and ? Blocks trapped inside of Turning Blocks and Used Blocks, which are not seen in any other levels from the game. The level takes place in bluish mountains. An interesting glitch can be found in this level where the player can ride an invisible and invincible Yoshi.

Overview

The stage starts off with several Spinies each trapped inside blocks. The players can release Yoshi from the ? Block near the beginning. They must hit the Rotating Blocks first to hit the block. There is also a Rotating Block holding a power-up just at the bottom right of the ? Block. The nearby P Switch will release all Spinies, as well as a nearby pipe that was blocked by blocks. The pipe takes Mario or Luigi to a bonus area. If the player moves on, they will see (after hitting the P Switch) that a yellow ! Block, a Dragon Coin and an item roulette block will also be accessible. Another pipe will take the Mario Bros. to an area with small gaps with water, as well as Super Mushrooms and Cheep Cheeps in bubbles that can be released. The Cheep Cheeps can instantly be defeated by touching them while they are on land, but they obviously become a threat when they jump into the water. Once they return to the main area, the Mario Bros. have bypassed two lakes with coins, parachuting Goombas and Para-bombs. After exiting the pipe, they will encounter the Midway Gate. Later on is the hardest part of the stage. The player must cross some moving pipes and extending blocks, until they reach a lone pipe with a Chargin' Chuck and a Dragon Coin. After defeating the enemy, the player will finally reach the last ledge with three Chargin' Chucks and the Goal Gate.
