- New Super Mario Bros. Wii (pictured) was released in Japan on December 3, 2009 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games was released in South Korea for the DS.
- Nintendo has released on November 27, 2009 (also known as Black Friday), special Nintendo DSi models (pictured) that come preinstalled with 5 Mario DSi titles.
- Super Smash Bros. has been announced for release on Virtual Console in the United States before the end of 2009.
