Gusty Blizzard
Template:Minigame-infobox Gusty Blizzard is a 1-vs-3 mini-game that is found during the events of the Nintendo DS game Mario Party DS. The mini-game uses the microphone for the solo player and the stylus for the three players.
Introduction
The mini-game takes place on a hat of the Mr. Blizzard's head up high seeing the background that is surrounded. All around from top of the Mr. Blizzard's hat had fences around, a large wooden sled as to the tiny characters that had been shirked, and mountains with a blue sky. In the scene, the camera approaches the three Mr. Blizzards who are just standing and then it stays in put. A short moment later, the three Mr. Blizzards are revealed to be the three players who are apparently freezing from this winter weather as they are free. Then finally, the mini-game starts.
Gameplay
The solo player's objective is to freeze the three players by using the microphone to attempt to freeze them completely within the time limit of ten seconds. The player must blow the microphone to try and freeze the three players, sending a freezing blizzard towards them. The deeper the player blows, the harder the three players must survive, the more likely the player wins.
The three player's objective is to survive from the freezing blizzard the player blows within a time limit of ten seconds. The three players must warmth themselves by using the stylus to rub the characters the player controls. There is a thermometer at each player, how warm the character is and how more likely cold the character is also. If one of the players is completely frozen, the player cannot rub the character anymore. The more the three players rub their characters warmth, the harder the solo player has to blow in more blizzards, the more likely the three players win.
If the solo player successfully freezes the three players, the solo player wins. If the three players survive the blizzard even if there is one or two left unfrozen, the three players win.
Controls
Single Player:
Microphone- Blow to cause a freezing wind
Team Players:
Stylus- Rub character to stay warm
Rules
Single Player: Blow on the microphone to chill your three opponents until they are fully frozen.
Team Players: Stay warm in the freezing blizzard by rubbing your character with the stylus. If even one character remains unfrozen, all three win the challenge.
Tips
Single Player: The strength of your deep freeze depends on how long and hard you blow into the Mic. Try to cause the deepest freeze you can.
Team Players: Rubbing your character with the stylus a little here and there is the best way to stay warm!
