Piscatory Pete.
Piscatory Pete are [[Cheep-Cheep]s similar to Blurps and Rip Van Fishs. They appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island in which they would swim at the Yoshi, blocking its path. The Yoshi could defeat them in its Yoshi Submarine form with a single torpedo. They have the same name as Cheep-Cheeps in Japan (Pukupuku).
They reappear in Yoshi's Island DS, although since the Submarine no longer shoots torpedoes, Yoshi simply has to avoid them.
"Piscatory" means of, relating to, or dependent on fish or fishing.
