Rename this article to NES Classics (Macromedia program)

A Yellow Block from Super Mario World This talk page section contains an unresolved talk page proposal. Please try to help and resolve the issue by voting or leaving a comment.

As I stated in a proposal regarding the Macromedia version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, this is not an Adobe Flash game (it was released on the NintendoVIP website in Europe as a downloadable .EXE file for Windows computers, as opposed to the usual .SWF formatting for promotional Adobe Flash games), so it should not be classified as such.

Rename NES Classics

  1. Nelsonic (talk) Per proposal.

Leave NES Classics as-is

  1. Camwoodstock (talk) Per our statements on the TTYD applet; there is a difference between stuff like Macromedia Director, and Adobe Flash. Macromedia Flash being an old name for the latter, and largely unrelated to the former despite its similar origins and use. (Macromedia Director is weird. We love it, but that's unrelated.)
  2. ThePowerPlayer (talk) Per my reasoning for the TTYD Flash game.
