Trivia

Okay, I'm opening this talk page following a disagreement. Do the Pinballer and F.L.U.D.D. share the same colors, and is it trivia-worthy? --Conradd (talk) 13:14, December 22, 2024 (EST)

What were they key points in the disagreement? I do think the overall color scheme between this and F.L.U.D.D. seem quite similar, with colors blue, yellow, silver, and brown all shared. This game was also released near Sunshine's release, relying on several elements from Super Mario Sunshine including Shine Sprites and Petey Piranha-like boss. However, key distinctions would be the primary color, blue, which seem to be not the same blue. Also, blue isn't really a major color for FLUDD, being restricted to just the pump. I'll bring up two pictures for comparison.
It's also less apparent in the accompanying screenshot, with Toad, in Pinballer's article, but that might be just the way the scene is lit.

Well, Axii seems to think it's a stretch for me to believe there is a similarity between those two and questions the relevance of including such observation in a Trivia section. But since we're on the subject, do you think that, given the elements Mario Pinball Land borrows from Super Mario Sunshine (like the boss, objects, and even sound effects), the shared colors between both the Pinballer and F.L.U.D.D. (which itself shares its colors with the Magic Paintbrush now that I think about it, making it clear that both devices are similar—both made by the same inventor, E. Gadd, but also kind of opposites, one cleans while the other pollutes, two faces of the same coin) serve as a means to subtly imply that both devices (the Pinballer and F.L.U.D.D.) were made by E. Gadd? I mean, both are inventions with "magical properties", kinda (well the Paintbrush is at least). Is E. Gadd mentioned at all in Mario Pinball Land? --Conradd (talk) 19:58, December 22, 2024 (EST)
