Yashichi[1] (generically referred to by Nintendo Power as sharp objects[2]) are obstacles in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Two of these spinning blades are encountered in first stage of the Mario Zone. Yashichi can damage Mario on contact, though they can be defeated from a Green Shell, or while invincible.

It appears only on the Gear Course in Mario Zone. It has four teeth and moves up and down slowly while spinning around. It is an invincible character, so don't try to fight it and quickly pass under it when it is above you.
