Coconut Mall is a course in Mario Kart Wii. It is the second course in the Flower Cup. It is set in a shopping center, seemingly located on Isle Delfino, according to the Official Mario Kart Wii Game Guide published by Prima, but clearly next to a beach. Racers start out at the entrance to the mall, and ride escalators to a upper floor. The section of the mall (pictured) features a fountain in the middle that racers can do tricks off of. After taking a stairwell down to another more open area with another fountain, racers then can follow one path that will lead to a giant drop out into a parking lots, or go for the lower exit. Miis and Piantas line the track in the parking lot while other Miis try to back over characters in their cars.

Shortcut

In Coconut Mall, there is one shortcut, although it is normally recommended for Time Trials, and requires a Mushroom. After getting a Turbo Boost after the race starts, head up the stairs and then over the escalator. Head to the far right, staying near the glass windows with Miis behind them. After a very short distance, you should see an opening in the glass wall. Swerve in there and use a Mushroom to boost over the sticky carpet. Exit the store after the Mushroom and zoom back to the main course.

Trivia

  • In beta versions, it was called Delfino's Mall.
  • Among the things to buy to eat are Mushrooms (Red and Green), Fire Flowers, Bananas, and Starmen.
  • The Publicity Posters are filled with player's Miis.
  • Many of the shops have the phrase "Coco" in their names sush as "Coco Burger" and "Coco Cafe". Coco most likely stands for coconut, hence the name of the track.
