Get a Hand is the third mission of Tick Tock Clock in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. Its name is a pun on a phrase that means "to receive help."

Layout

The player needs to climb to the platform where the first clock hand spins across. If the hand is not there, the player needs to wait for it to approach. The player needs to jump onto the hand and ride it as it turns around the large chasm. Once it reaches a small alcove on the other side of the clock, the player needs to jump into it to collect the Power Star, though they need to avoid the Amp moving nearby.

The Star can also be obtained by falling from the platform above the small alcove; this is the only reliable way to reach it when the clock is stopped in the original version. In the DS version, the alcove can be reached with careful use of Luigi's Backward Somersault from higher ground. In both versions, the Heave-Ho present in the level can also launch the player into the alcove, but this is very unreliable and more likely to occur by accident.
