Super Mario Picross is the sequel to the GameBoy game Mario's Picross and takes place on the Super Nintendo. After the failure of Mario's Picross in america, a sequel was released only in Japan. The game played much the same way as the first, except Wario made a cameo.

Gameplay

The game was an odd Mario game, pretty much having nothing to do with Mario in some ways. It was an odd puzzle game in which the player would play with a chisel and rock hammer to uncover numbers in a number game. Without the title screen and level selection screen, one could believe that this wasn't even a Mario game.

Graphics

One of the neat things about the game were its interesting graphics in the File Selection Screen and the title screen. The File Selection Screen had a background with a building, having Mario's face on it, and a green hill with a dotted "M." The title screen was nice quality graphics with a winking odd-styled abstract Mario made of little squares.
