User talk:Luigi Liker
Infobox images
Our policy for infobox images is to use the most recent game artwork; excluding ones that are specialised for a certain game or series (even the Smash style falls under this). See Template:Character infobox for a better explaination on this. Nightwicked Bowser 19:31, February 28, 2023 (EST)
Reminder
Please stop changing artwork of infoboxes from subjects' latest artwork on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Please heed what Swallow said above. Mario JC 08:30, March 1, 2023 (EST)
Your edits
involve mostly your user space. Infact, a majority of your edits in the Mario Wiki are of the User namespace (42 in userspace, while a whopping twelve edits in the mainspace). Instead of editing your userpage, why not find time to look up some needy articles using Special:Random? Then, when you have reached a hearty amount of mainspace edits, you can edit your userpage. But don't edit your userpage multiple times in a short timespan... PnnyCrygr 09:19, May 23, 2023 (EDT) Um, ok, but it's my userpage, not yours....I will try to make more mainspace edits Luigi Liker(T|C) 07:07, May 30, 2023 (EDT)
RE: Sig
A "sig" page is a page where you can make your own custom signature and use that to sign when you post on talk pages. So User:Luigi Liker/sig would be yours, and whatever you put in that page is your signature. After you've created the page, go to your preferences, type {{User:Luigi Liker/sig}} in the "New signature" field, tick the "Treat signature as wikitext" checkbox, save, then whenever you sign by typing ~~~~, your custom signature is used. Make sure you read MarioWiki:Signatures and follow the rules there before making one. Mario JC 06:25, May 30, 2023 (EDT)
Plagiarism
I'm not sure why you asked if you're going to create the article anyway without approval, but please do not plagiarise from other websites like Wikipedia without attribution; that is grounds for a reminder or warning if it happens again. They should be written in your own words. Anyway, right now I'm not too familiar with WiiConnect24 to determine if it deserves an article or not but you can post a question on a relevant talk page like Talk:Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to get opinions from the community (or consider starting a proposal); and there's already a section on NSO on the Nintendo Switch page.
