Talk:Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle

I could have sworn there was some kind of Mario Excitebike anime series or special that aired in 1997 alongside the Pokemon anime. I heard about it on DKVine, and remembering seeing mention of it on the Japanese Wikipedia page for the Pokemon anime years ago. Please tell me I'm not crazy. --John Pannozzi (talk) 15:58, 23 January 2016 (EST)

Very interesting. Skimming through the Wikipedia pages as best I can, these seem to be Nintendo variety shows, showcasing Pokemon battles, Mario Kart racing, competitive playing of things like SMW, etc. スーパーマリオクラブ (Super Mario Club) seems to be the first one (1990-93), followed by and スーパーマリオスタジアム (Super Mario Stadium, 93-96), 64マリオスタジアム (64 Mario Stadium, 96-2000) and finally マリオスクール (Mario School, 2000-01), before two more seasons as a magic variety show. I didn't notice anything about Excitebike: BBMBS, but I think the articles are only showing the highlightd (and maybe I missed it, who knows). Either way, it's pretty neat, and the name alone means we should try to make articles for these shows - so far, it seems we only have Super Mario Club (television series). - Walkazo 14:52, 26 January 2016 (EST)

The name

I've noticed that the first two "weeks" of this game, the title screen doesn't have the word "Stadium" in it (while 3 and 4 do). Then I realised, "Stadium" probably isn't supposed to be part of the name, but differentiates the four weeks as "Stadiums". Should we rename the page? --Mariofan5000 (talk) 02:18, May 27, 2019 (EDT)

Voice actors

  • On BTVA, they credit the N64 era early voice actors (Charles Martinet, Julien Bardakoff, Thomas Spindler, Peach and Toad's voice actors) to Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach and Toad. Does anyone know if the game did use these guys voice clips? Because only the Japanese voice actors are properly credited. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 12:26, March 7, 2022 (EST)
