The Big Red Balloon was an item found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It starts off as a small balloon, and Yoshi must stand on a panel which pumps it up to make it bigger. After Yoshi pumps it up fully, he can jump on it to ride it through the sky until it runs out of air and falls off the screen. They only appear in about 2 levels, mostly in secret areas.
