Those moving pendulum platforms

Problem is, sometimes the "normal" lift in one game is another game's variant, like Rail Lift. Before splitting anything, I'd implore you to consider merging Flatbed Ferry and going from there, since that's just a particular design. Regardless, in my experience it is best to make a talk section on the article's talk page at least a week before attempting a proposal, so more agreement can be reached early on. Not doing so can waste a lot of time of the proposal itself. Basically, do not think "when in doubt, make proposal," instead think "when in doubt, make talk section."
