Monty Mole
A surely mole that has appeared in a few Mario games. He has been seen in a few of the Mario side-scrolling games, including Super Mario World, where there are also giant-sized versions that one can stand on the heads of, allowing access across spikes and other obstacles. Monty Mole is also seen in the Mario Kart series, as an obstacle that you must manuever around in various courses. In general, they are annoyances rather than enemies.

- Flower Fields: You remember Monty Moles from Mt. Rugged, don't you? They're vicious rock-throwers. They may look intimidating but they're not very strong.

Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time
Monty Moles appear in this game as well, but in the past. One is seen in the Gritzy Desert, and will impede the foursome's progress unless they can complete his challenge.
