Captain Fishook
Template:More images Template:LMDMghost-infobox Captain Fishook is the thirteenth boss encountered in Luigi's Mansion 3, who haunts The Spectral Catch and guards both the thirteenth floor elevator button and the Yellow Toad's portrait.
Appearance
Captain Fishook appears shortly after embarking on his ship, where he swims up. He then reveals the thirteenth floor elevator button underneath his eyepatch before merging with the ship's deck.
Battle
Similar to Façade from the Zelda series, the player needs to throw powder keg bombs down Fishook's gullet while he's merged with the ship, with three attacks being enough to force him out of the ship.
Afterwards, he player needs to evade his scythe and lunging attacks, and specifically time their flashes so that it affects his right eye (as his left eye is immune to the flash for obvious reasons). Afterwards, they can suck him in.
Upon draining his HP to 100, he'll change tactics and merge with the stern of the ship, with Luigi needing to use his plunger launcher to evade being consumed by the stern when he rears back. Afterward, the player has to launch several powder keg bombs down the gullet like before, and after forcing him off the ship, he'll repeat his attack pattern. Upon defeating him, he'll struggle to flee only to be forced in downward. Luigi will then get the button as well as release the Yellow Toad atop the ship's stern.
Captain Fishook is one of only two bosses in Luigi's Mansion 3 to have a battle separated into phases (the other being King Boo). He will release himself from the Poltergust G-00 when he has 200 and 100 HP remaining.
