Hi. I'm Mad Hunter, an editor of the super Mario bros wiki. My age is 12, and I love Mario games. From the clasics to the trending, I play them. Each one is filled with something unique, or at least a point of interest, and as a Mario wiki editor, I'm going to try to make every article packed with information any user might need (Such as this one).

Games I Have Played

I've seen multiple people do this, and I find it interesting. So Im going to do it, from the perspective of a 12 year old! I may have stolen Master L's chart idea from him. Sorry master.
Rating will be out of 5 stars.

Super Mario Bros.

It's a very well made, polished title. Its nice to sometimes go back and see how the series all started. unfortunately, the game isn't exiting enough for me to sit down and do a full completion. It's a nice game to play every so often, but it isn't mind blowing, nor is it mind-meltingly boring. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngBuilder Mario, in Super Mario Maker. Staricon.pngStaricon.png
I beat the game using warps.

I Dont like this game. Maybe its the fact that I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET PAST LEVEL 5! besides that, it was fun for about 3 minutes. Staricon.png Staricon.png

Oddly enough, I dont hate this game. I think of it as good troll levels from Super Mario Maker, or at least ones that aren't too complicated. I also like the fact that this is where mushrooms got eyes! Okay, that sounds wrong, but you get what I mean. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.png
I Got to world 4 level 3.

Ehhhhhh… I dont know what to say about this one. I never really cared to play after level 2. The first level was great, though. Staricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.png
I beat level 4 at some point.

Super Mario Bros. 3

Wow. This is a game that really took off and made the Mario game francize so much better. There's a world map, there are different themes, so many different enemies, and just so much more! This is one of the only retro games I can sit down with, and have hours of enjoyment out of. still, the boss fights aren't the best, and it is very difficult. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png
I beat the game with warps, but I have done a lot of the levels in between on different playthroughs.

Super Mario World

One of the best Mario games created. The World map has gotten much better, you can revisit previous levels, and there are 2 secret worlds for pros willing to take on the challenge. I praise this game for it's content, diversity, new user friendly aspect, and sound design. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.png
Im working on Vanilla Dome, as I just got this game as of making this.

Super Mario Kart

The game is very good, and I think this was a great Idea for Nintendo to make a cart-racing game, but I dont like the controls, and it's too difficult to tell what's going on. as this was Nintendo's first try at Mario cart, Im not trying to criticize them too much, but I just dont spend much time with this game. I prefer F-Zero over this. Staricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.png
I tried this out, and then quit. I dont know what cups I completed, if any.

Nintendo 64

I have never played a Nintendo 64 game or a GameCube game.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

This was my introduction into the Mario universe. The Wii was the first video game system that I ever received. At first, I got Four games on the wii; New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and two Cars tm games, which were "Cars: Race o' rama" and "Cars 2". I had a lot of fun with the cars games (honestly, they were more fun than you would think.), but I was too afraid to play the Mario games. I thought they were only for the cool kids, and I shouldn't play them (even though my mom suggested that I play them. This kind of thought cycle I had made me believe that I shouldn't play Minecraft, which caused some social problems). But one day, I turned New Super Mario Bros. Wii on, and thought it was the most amazing thing ever created. But enough with my life story. This game is the best Mario side scrolling platformer I have played. There are lots of enimies to dodge, castles to take on, and boss fights to challenge. I now think that it was a bit too easy, but my feelings about this game haven't changed. I do wish there were more secrets though... Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png
I'm stuck on a few pesky star coins.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

This was my second Mario game I played. I Really like this game, and I wish Nintendo had made a third game. Even though this is a level based-linier game, I still have fun exploring the planets and collecting power stars! Its a very fun game, but I wish that there were more stars on each galaxy. I'm on World 5.

Super Paper Mario

I don't know what to say about this one. Its a good story based game, and I like the combat, but I'm stuck at a part where its telling me to press - and 1 at the same time to make something happen, but when I did it, nothing happened. (this is future Mad Hunter, I was actualy supposed to press it on that stupid blue platform, I'll do that later.) Otherwise, good game. Im going to have to play more to make a rating. ??? I'm on 1-3.

Super Mario 3D Land

Now were onto the handhelds! Super Mario 3D Land is a great game. while it isn't as good as its Wii U counterpart, It is fantastically made. I love the fact that there are just as many secret levels as normal levels (actualy, there is one more normal level than secret levels) and the final boss is one of my favorite bosses is all of Mario games. I just wish that there were more power ups, and that the opening cut seen was playable. I actually really enjoy this game. The whole focus on collecting coins is kind of fun, and the DLC doesn't come off as tacky or bad to me. In fact, they're some of the best levels in Mario games I have ever played. There's so much coins hidden in the coin pack that it's amazing. I also like how there are 3 secret worlds, and the rainbow courses are fantastic. This game's multiplayer is also the best a 2d side scroller can get. I dont have 1,000,000 coins yet. also, I'm struggling with world 4.

Paper Mario Sticker Star

Ok, let's start from the start. First of all, the story reminds me of a Mario sidescroller's cutscenes. Second, The battle system was awful. Third, well, it's repetitive. Its not fun. You Beat up enemies. You continue progressing. You got to another world. You fight more enemies. You progress through a cave. It's not fun. And if it's not fun, why bother? I have to give it credit for not using EXP. Why, you might ask? Because the fights are hot garbage. I suggest you pull stickers off the wall, and dont encounter any enemies. Maybe fight an enemy every once in a while to see if you're stickers are adequate, but dont even think about fighting them for fun, cause' fun is not what you get. Why bother? I got to world 3 before I fell asleep.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

I never played the original game, so my opinion of this game is much different from others, but I personally enjoyed this game a lot. I liked the difrent ghosts and their attacks, The locations are very impressive, and the boss fights are all fun and enjoyable. I'm also a fan of Polterpup. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png
I have all gems, every single ghost (excluding the scarescaper ghosts) all upgrades, and 30 boos.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

The First Mario & Luigi game I ever played. I really like this game. The fact that Luigi is the main character brings this game up by a lot, even though this was already a good game to begin with. So many characters from previous games have retuned here, and it works out well. Antasma is one of my favorite villains of all time, and Prince Dreambert is a nice Supporting character. I have to say, though, 2/5 of the giant bosses in the game rely on tilt mechanics for at least part of their battle, and that's not good. The Zeekeeper is a prime example. During it's battle, it creates a dimensional rift and flies through it, with luigi following close behind. while you are in the rift, you have to use tilt controls to dodge the high-damage attacks. Now, during the luiginary ball Luiginary attack, tilt controls work fine because of two reasons. one, you're only using left and right, and two, the attack doesn't last very long. however, the zeekeeper's attack involves moving left, right, up, and down, and this attack lasts quite a while too. this means than the tilt controls aren't going to work. Its super frustrating. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png
I have not completed the battle ring.

*Sigh* why didn't Nintendo just make the game like the original? Would it have been that hard to add the Mystery Mushroom, or the Big Mushroom? And what about Gnat Attack? And why can't I put my courses online? I cant even search for courses! Is there anything unique in this game? I guess the Super Mario Challenge is fun, but it doesn't make up for everything else. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

A very good remake of a very good game. I love the story, and the bros attacks are my favorite here. I wish that the bros attacks were as fast paced as the original, but they still go by very fast. I like how the game has you go back to bean bean castle throughout the game. It's like a central hub or a main area. The minigames are the best they have ever been. I play the minigames so much that I collected enough Hee Beans to raise Luigi's Stash to 349! I Just wish you could revisit bosses. Mario Party: The Top 100

Look, I Like Mario party games, and I loved the idea, but Nintendo was just so lazy with it. In reality, they took a handful of Mario games from difrent games, and put it on this. not the top games, just games. And most of these are good, I mean how can you not like a Mario party game? But it's dangling by a string inches above the very bottom of the wishing well, where Mario party games such as Mario Party Advance lay. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngBuilder Mario, in Super Mario Maker. This game is on par with Superstar Saga. It's funny, charming, playing as bowser is really fun, and the boss fights are cool. Staricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.pngStaricon.png Staricon.png
I'm working on bowser's fight in Dr. Toadley's office.
