Level synopsis
This level is a remake of World 1-2 from the original Super Mario Bros. with several differences: Mario starts the level in the underground area rather than running into a pipe beforehand, all of the Brick Blocks on the ground near the exit pipe (bar the highest row) are now Hard Blocks, and entering one of the Warp Pipes in the Warp Zone leads Mario to a room with a treasure chest containing a Fire Flower. Also, as with World 1-1, the Ace Coin replaces the top center coin in the shortened bonus room, and most of the Brick Blocks there also contain coins.
New level elements
- Lifts (Super Mario Bros.-style)
Enemies
Advance Coin
- Within the original level's bonus room, in the first pipe.
