Golf Courses
Lakitu Valley - A basic course surrounded by trees. It is the most conventional and easiest course to play on.
Cheep Cheep Falls - This course has a conventional nature like Lakitu Valley, but also contains ponds and rivers as water hazards.
Shifting Sands - This course is very similar to Dry Dry Desert and contains many sand traps.
Blooper Bay - This course features some unconventional elements, such as fast fairways, and is set in a tropical resort theme. Its bunkers are shaped like certain objects, such as seagulls or bananas.
Peach's Castle Grounds - This course features many unconventional elements, such as warp pipes, Chain Chomps, and giant mushrooms. Hitting a ball in a flower bed will result in many Pikmin popping up from the flowers.
Bowser Badlands - This dark course, designed by Bowser, contains Bob-ombs, Piranha Plants, and Whomps, as well as elements such as lava.
Congo Canopy - Set in the Congo Jungle, this is a special course used in pin-shot and birdie challenges.
Trivia
- In coin attack mode, the coins make up various patterns. One makes up the Triforce from the Legend of Zelda series, while another looks like the Nintendo GameCube. One pattern spells out "1-2-3 GO!"
- Every time the player makes a shot, the screen will close up on the ball. Very, very rarely and randomly, the close up will feature a Boo the size of a golf ball, making the sound that Boos do.
- This game's scoreboard features many characters from other Mario games, including Goombario and Hammer Bro. Quite shockingly (and very possibly coincidentally), one of these referenced characters has actually never been seen since the Super Mario Adventures comic, where he was a minor hero.
- Baby Mario and Metal Mario were meant to be in this game, but were taken out in the final version.
- When the player hits the ball and falls into a flower field, many Pikmin will come out.
