Clawdaddy

A Clawdaddy is a cloud-like crab that inhabits the jungles of Yoshi's Island. They're very tough and take three Eggs or a Ground Pound to be defeated. Clawdaddy rush towards a target once the target is spotted, then enlarges one of its claws before lunging and pinching, or spinning it around. This cloud-covered enemy could have inspired the Gnarantula.
Clawdaddy teams up with Prince Froggy during the events of Tetris Attack. However, it first appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
In Yoshi's Island DS, they are replaced by a very similar enemy, Crabbles.Intrestingly, their eyes do not appear to be attached to thier bodies.
