- NinteXboxONE (talk) It was the first ever Mario game to be played on a mobile device.

- Owencrazyboy9 (talk) If that's the reason the article deserves to be featured, I'm gonna say no. Featured articles are for well-written, shining examples of articles on the wiki, not nominating it because it's your favourite game for example.
- Toadette the Achiever (talk) Yeah, it's just a fan vote at worst.
- Baby Luigi (talk) I'm going to assume that this nomination was up because the author thinks it's actually a quality article and not because he hasn't read the rules at all and I'll jump in and provide feedback on what could be improved. For starters, the game modes section is missing very vital information. There's no Kingdom Builder and no World Tour descriptions at all. Some information and vital features such as the user's ability to insert their own music is omitted as well, and I haven't even played the game to notice that. The obstacles and Item and Objects section is just a list of items with no images nor description of them, forcing users to possibly sift through links to find the item they're actually looking for. The levels section under World Tour is just a simple list of levels when it could be better organized and presented (see how other Featured Articles list their levels, such as Donkey Kong Country and Mario Party: Star Rush. With a game additionally receiving constant updates, it would benefit the article to have an Update history section similar to how Mario Kart 8 does i.
- YoshiFlutterJump (talk) This does not qualify for featuring, and your vote is flawed anyways. Fan votes are not permitted. This is almost as ridiculous as this. Maybe this qualifies for BJAODN as well!
- Lcrossmk8 (talk) Since everyone seems to be voting for this side, and since all the evidence seems to support this side, I am gonna vote here, thank you very much. Per all. By the way, a featured article is an article that can potentially be featured on the main page, and it doesn't have to do with how accessible it is on the main wiki, right?
- LuigiMaster123 (talk) Per all. That is far from a good enough reason for this article to be featured.
- Yoshi the SSM (talk) Given the time period, I don't think I can get this featured article ready in the given time. But, I will see what I can do. Although I am working on SMMFN3DS articles as well.

@Baby Luigi: I think that world-level tables are better suited for the world articles; just saying. (T|C) 15:33, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Possibly. But I still think the list would heavily improve with at least an image of each level. I see the screenshot with the thumbnails, someone could crop the thumbnails out and use these as level icons to improve the presentation. Ray Trace(T|C) 15:35, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Took a while, but I did it. See File:SMR W1-1 thumbnail.JPG. It will take a while for me to do this. Also, I am far from obtaining all the Challenge Coins (which will cause an inconsistency with an this image) Yoshi the SSM (talk) 15:56, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- I think it'd be better if it was exclusively the level image, without the white border and the title. The level names are going to be in plain text for links, so it's redundant. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 15:58, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- I agree. You probably have to use a sophisticated image editing program that either supports round borders or smooth cropping to get a decent result from displaying only the thumbnail. So maybe you should make it a .png for transparency support. Ray Trace(T|C) 16:06, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- These images automatically save as JPGs, so converting them to PNGs is against policy. As for the image, I can get as close as I can to the image. As, I just did. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 16:15, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- I think it looks pretty good, but tbh, in this case with rounded corners, applying transparency would look better on the article and that requires it to be in .png. Still I suppose that is also acceptable. Ray Trace(T|C) 16:34, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- I quickly created a look for these levels. (See User:Yoshi_the_SSM/Wiki_Work_Space#Testings.) This is the only look that I thought would work best (as template didn't look quite right and using a premade image in a template like the maps wouldn't work because the template wouldn't need to be on every level page and shouldn't). Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:16, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Pardon, but I'm able to upload in .png. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:21, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Ok. Looking good. So good that I even updated the look to reflect the new .png look and fake link my image. Converting from JPG to PNG for me would be very difficult, though possible, but still iffy. Time Turner, you seem to be able to do it. Also, you are able to more blankly make an image without the friends. I say that because even though it won't show, people can easily go back to it the old. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:42, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- I uploaded it mostly because I was aware that it could be done; I don't have access to all of the SMR levels, so I'm not the best person to ask for images. Can I ask how you uploaded your image? All I did was directly upload it from my phone to the wiki (and then I cropped out the extraneous stuff once the image was uploaded). Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:46, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Tablet (not phone, but same media as the one the I am playing SMR on) to Wiki directly. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:48, 24 November 2017 (EST)

I improve the article quite a bit over the last day, but I'm still not sure if it's good enough to be featured yet. It's still missing something that some other featured articles I've seen had TBH. YarnPoochy 04:12, 14 January 2018 (EST)
- it's better than when i last saw it but there still could be improvement. the list of levels can be laid out like it is in, say Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or Donkey Kong Country, and the list of objects needs images and descriptions like the other featured articles. i think those are the only big issues i have with it. oh and it's still completely missing update list versions, that's pivotal to have in a game article like this that has multiple versions of the game Ray Trace(T|C) 04:16, 14 January 2018 (EST)
- Well hey, I already added a patch notes section. The Yoshi's Island level select looks really good; I could probably look at doing something like that tomorrow. As for the objects list, I'm not sure where to find images for them, considering the best ones to get in-game are tiny in-game sprites. Would we just use NSMBWii/U/2 assets in that case?
