Poison Pokeys are a sub-species of Pokey that extremely resemble Pokey Mummies. However, the two are completely different species, as Pokey Mummies are actually just dead Pokeys. Poison Pokeys are found solely at the Riverside Station in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
They may be fought like you would a Pokey, but are stronger and can induce poison.
