Final Cutter
Final Cutter is one of the attacks used by the Cutter ability in the Kirby series, and appears in the Super Smash Bros. series as Kirby's up special move. Like in its series of origin, Kirby pulls out a blade and slashes up into the air before flying back toward the ground. When Kirby lands the attack sends out a shockwave in front of him that also damages opponents. The move also has a meteor smash on the descent. The player can also influence Kirby's horizontal movement during the attack.
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U this move has two customizable variants. The first of these is Wave Cutter, which does not damage opponents with the blade but the landing creates a larger shockwave of rocks that deals more damage. The second is Upper Cutter, which only sends Kirby into the air, only dealing a single hit, and leaving Kirby helpless afterward.
