I never saw one in mario 3d land. Should we delete? SuperPaperFan 14:52, 6 December 2011 (EST)

Oh lol i just played the game and saw some i think. Thanks. SuperPaperFan 20:33, 7 December 2011 (EST)

since we have Goomba (Super Mario World) split from Goomba, shouldn't the Paragoomba from SMW be split from here, as well? --firebrick purplebluegoldbluegreen PKB FSB.png firebrick

Split Para-Galoomba from Paragoomba

Template:SettledTPP SPLIT 8-1

The Paragoombas are completely different from Para-Galoombas for two reasons:

  1. Para-Galoombas have a behavior similar to the Para-bombs therefore are missing absolutely nothing to do with the Paragoombas.
  2. Ever since I came out of Super Mario World, the Galoombas were considered enemies other than Goomba, plus year now also an official name. Therefore also in this case the Para-Galoombas not centrate nothing with Paragoombas.

Support

  1. Sonic98 (talk): I agree with my own proposal.
  2. Stonehill (talk) Just as long it's given as {{Conjectural}}, it's fine with me. Besides, "Paragaloombas" don't appear in Super Mario 3D World.
  3. Randombob-omb4761 (talk) It's a different species of Paragoomba.
  4. Peanutjon (talk) Per everyone (except Stonehill, see comments). Also, can we make a Winged Galoomba?
  5. Ghost Jam (talk) Enough evidence exists to support two articles. Agree with the inclusion of the Conjecture template until something more concrete is printed.
  6. Koopakoolklub (talk) They're different species! They should have been separated as soon as we found this out!
  7. Lumastar (talk) Super Mario 3D World confirmed Galoombas as a separate species from normal Goombas. Para-Galoombas should get their own section, too. At the very least, they should be a part of the Galoomba article instead of the Paragoomba article.
  8. Tsunami (talk) Per Randombob-omb4761, Goombas and Galoombas are different species, like Paragoombas and Paragaloombas are.
  9. Mario Ball Z (talk) You are correct, a Galoomba is 100% different compared to a normal Goomba. Move it soon and I create a Winged Galoomba page!

Oppose

  1. Misty (talk) – I'm not supporting this, since I feel that the information should be moved to the SMW Goomba page.

Comments

I don't think Paragaloomba is a conjectural title. They were referred to as Para-Goomba in the original Super Mario World, we're just adding the "ga". Peanutjon (talk) 10:59, 24 June 2014 (EDT)

Are we also splitting Winged G(al)oomba? PikaSamus (talk) 16:32, 24 June 2014 (EDT)
At the time they weren't called Galoombas though, so I assume it would be conjectural? --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 19:16, 24 June 2014 (EDT)
Right. Template:Color-link-piped At last, the rock fell.

@Peanutjon: Those Galoomba not have the wings. And then similar to the Para-bombs. So I would say that Para-Galoomba would be the most appropriate name.--Sonic98 (talk) 15:55, 25 June 2014 (EDT)
I have no idea what that means... but we need Para-Galoomba (with parachutes) and Winged Galoomba (with wings, like Paragoombas). Peanutjon (talk) 12:04, 26 June 2014 (EDT)
@Lumastar: But why a simple section? The Para-Galoomba and Wing Galoomba Wheels are a subspecies of Galoomba. It would not make sense in its own section of the page Galoomba, it would be like putting all the subspecies of Goomba existing on a single page.--Sonic98 (talk) 04:33, 28 June 2014 (EDT)
