Talk:Kremling Krew
In DK: King of Swing, the Kremling Krew is renamed the Kremling Gang; should this be moved or something? -- Sir Grodus
Don't you mean Jungle Climber? Well, I would say yes, but do a proposal first. Glowsquid
MNaybe, like on the Koopa Troop article, we should put that name near the top of the page Mr. Guy the Guy Talk!
Yeah, I meant DK: Jungle Climber. I guess the same thing could be done here as on the Koopa Troop article. -- Sir Grodus
Is this the name in-game? If yes, I say move. If not, it gets tricky, as games have a higher value than other sources. -- Son od Suns
Ingame I think, K. Rool use that name. Glowsquid
Its used by K. Rool and Diddy Kong in-game, but the "g" in gang is lowercase, but when K. Rool says it for the first time, the text has a red font. -- Sir Grodus
So, should this be moved? -- Sir Grodus
- It's a tough call. I don't know. -- Son of Suns
Does anybody know when the first specific instance of the term "Kremling Krew" turned up? It appears to have first been used in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, and later in DK: King of Swing. I'm trying to track down where this title originated from.--CM August 21:43, 16 November 2007 (EST)
I've looked through the DKC, DKL, DKC2, DKC3 and DKL3 manuals, no mentioning of the name Kremling Krew, so it either originates from SSBM or one of the following:
- The DKC/DKL novellas.
- DKL2
- The Game Boy Color version of DKC.
- DK64
- Some media release or preview.
Sorry for this after a long while, but it appeared in the guild for it that I have. I think it is Nintendo Power.

- Sorry to bring this up after a long while, but it would seem the "Kremling Gang" is just those Kritters that accompanied K.Rool in Jungle Climber and used Crystal Bananas.I <3 DKC 22:09, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
- ... Yeah, but that's the closest thing we have to a newer official name. For what we know, "Kremling Krew" could just have refereed to the Pirate Crew of K.Rool in DKC2. --Blitzwing 06:29, 1 November 2008 (EDT)
- But in Brawl, it mentions King K.Rool being the leader of the Kremling Krew.I <3 DKC 19:56, 17 November 2008 (EST)
- Brawl also tell us that Kaptain K. Rool is King K. Rool Brother. I don't consider the trophies to be a great source of information. --Blitzwing 06:47, 18 November 2008 (EST)
DKCR?
Is there a reason all the bosses from DKCR have been added to the Kremling Krew category? Thanos6 (talk) 13:38, 20 February 2013 (EST)
Allies
Any particular reason we have the allies section? As far as I can tell the Zinger's and such are work for K. Rool as actual minions than allies. But that's just me.--Ladies-Man1 (talk) 19:53, 7 February 2014 (EST)
- At a glance, I'd wager a "Kremlings vs. NOT-Kremlings" distinction. Lord G. matters. 21:31, 7 February 2014 (EST)
- Meaning?--Ladies-Man1 (talk) 12:48, 8 February 2014 (EST)
- ...it kinda means what it says. :u The non-reptilian enemies like Gnawty and Zinger have their own "rulers" (Queen B., King Zing, etc.), who in turn answer to King K. Rool, making them "members-by-proxy", for lack of a better term on my part, hence their ally status. Mind you, that's my interpretation of it anyhow. Lord G. matters. 14:13, 8 February 2014 (EST)
