Magma

Shouldn't we call the lava that's underground magma? Or should we simply call them all lava?

I think that magma is pretty much completely enclosed by earth, but lava is in the open, and that's how it is in all the Mario games. YoshiwakerTyranitar.png

If there's Lava, Goop and other ground obstacles articles, then why no quicksand article?

Molten rock

"Lava is, quite simply, molten rock, just like in real life." Just a thought, is it confirmed in any Mario games/other products? I know it doesn't really matter, and that it is supposed to be like in real life, but there is no evidence of this. Maybe we should write "Lava is a hazard than can defeat Mario if he touches it.", or something like that (and more well-written :D )

That's a better way to write it. Besides, if it was really molten rock, it would burn Mario if Mario got close to it. It makes more sense if it's red acid. :P Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:36, 29 March 2013 (EDT)
