the official name in English should be Blooming Lakitu as the name suggests the level in which they appear. --Sonic98 (talk) 13:07, 6 February 2013 (EST)

The name of the level has nothing to do with this type of Spiny Egg. Plus, it is a type of Spiny Egg, so it can't be called "Blooming Lakitu" like you suggested. --- ThePremiumYoshi
Let's just do it as conjectural, Gūrindai is impossible to type in the Google bar. I say we call it a Piranha Plant Egg, for now.

Yup. According to our naming policy, "If there is no official English name, then the first released official name of the subject in another language is used." Mario It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:56, 20 March 2013 (EDT)
Also, the level names might use non-offical names to make sure they alliterate or rhyme. --Hiccup (talk) 13:41, 13 June 2015 (EDT)
