The Bubble Capsule first appeared in Mario Party 5. It and could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for 10 coins. It's effect was that it made the player catch on fire and bounce forward 10 spaces. The downside was that the player also lost the other capsules he/she might have had, and they did not control the direction of where they were going. In Mario Party 6, it became an Orb that players could only place on a space as a roadblock (and costs 5 coins at the Orb Shop). Opponents that passed over a space contaning the orb summoned Podoboos to attack him/her, causing them to lose 10 coins.
