Strollin' Stu
Widget Puffies are squat, pudgy creatures, somewhat similar to Goombas, so much that fans and strategy guides call them Goombas, that are native to Isle Delfino, or they could have been created by Shadow Mario as in Bianco Hills they are shown to be made of goop. Though in later appearances they aren't shown with this feature meaning that they could've gotten into contact with the goop as such gained goop powers similar to Petey Piranha. With their bulbous noses, high-tucked spotted trousers, and waddling gait, they are a cute and comical sight. They are particularly hostile and will charge if approached.
There are also Swoopin' Stus and Flamin' Stus along with Flaming Swoopin' Stus. Plus, these little guys like to stack themselves up onto each other, making a huge stack. A larger variety can also steal Mario's hat, causing him to get damaged from the rays of the sun. A simple stomp on the head will do them in, however. Widget Puffies can be found in Delfino Airstrip, Bianco Hills, Pinna Park and some secret areas. They're easy to defeat in large groups by using a quick squirt from FLUDD.
Widget Puffies, so far, have only appeared in Super Mario Sunshine, however their name also appears in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour's scorechart. Widget Puffies resemble Burts except Widget Puffies have spots instead of stripes and are orange with pink pants instead of peach and light blue pants.
