The Fire Snake is a nearly impervious enemy found in the Desert Land of Super Mario Bros. 3. It can only be killed with Star Power, a raccoon tail, or by Shells. They hop around in very inconvenient places, blocking access to items or platforms. Fire Snakes make a return in World 2 of New Super Mario Bros.
