Block.svg Brandondorf9999 has been blocked indefinitely from editing the Super Mario Wiki for editing other users' comments and reuploading images wrongly, after being told not to do so without discussing it first, sockpuppet during a temporary block and impersonated an administrator.
See the block log.
Please stop undoing an edit by an admin on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

YOu cannot undo an edit by User:Porplemontage, an admin and the site's founder. If you do it again you will get blocked. Pikmin' BluePikminKong497 18:24, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Banjo Images

  • I don't know if you knew this or not, but the wiki did have a proposal which removed all Banjo series data that does not involve the Mario Universe. Unless you're using the Banjo images as personal images, they do not belong here, unless they're from a Mario crossover title. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 21:38, 20 July 2011 (EDT)
They are banjo images but they are just artwork ones from banjo kazooie series and they can belong here.--Brandondorf9999 21:39, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Template:Lastwarn

  • Stop uploading Banjo images that are not Mario related. Continue to do so, and I may have to block you. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 21:41, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Transparency Artworks

  • For future reference, please check the transparent artworks on a black background. An image that looks good on a white background might not look good on a black one; for example, your upload for File:Mariogood.PNG has bad transparency when looked at a black background. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 21:56, 20 July 2011 (EDT)
I know but my paint.net program goes stupid on the transparency. I don't know what editing program what i should use for making them good.--Brandondorf9999 21:59, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Hacked Images

Quit uploading Hacked images. Upload normal onesFuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. UYoshiGo99Artwork of a Yoshi egg on a tilt. It is unknown whether this artwork was released with a certain game or not.

You know what? I will get the non-hacked hat versions right now.--Brandondorf9999 23:18, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Per YoshiGo99, uploading hacked images is stictly prohibited on the wiki. This is your last chance to stop uploading hacked images or any verison that isn't same as the gameplay of SM64. Or you'll be blocked.

Alien Bunny Sprite.pngL151Onnanoko

  • You can only display hacked images if they're involved with beta elements. For example, File:SMBWGiantBuzzy.png is a hacked image, but it's to show an enemy which was never used in the final version of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:01, 21 July 2011 (EDT)

Subspace Emissary

  • You reverted File:FalseDiddy.png back to a revision that isn't really acceptable. You see, the 1280x720 pixel revision is what the image actually looks like when viewed on the Dolphin Emulator. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 23:36, 28 August 2011 (EDT)
  • Listen, if you're using the Dolphin Emulator to take Subspace Emissary screenshots of the cutscenes, no cropping. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 15:01, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • Your screenshots are too big though, using more than 5 MB, which can be a heavy burden to the Mario Wiki servers. Even SWFlash's screenshots don't go that high; usually less than 3 MB. I'll probably have to talk this over with the other admins. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 15:32, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • Regardless, I'm mentioning your actions on the forums to see if it's going to cut it or not. If not, then expect your revisions to be reverted. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 15:42, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • Okay, I did get a response from Glowsquid, and he recommends that you compress your large images before uploading them. There are a couple ways to reduce the size of PNG images, which includes removing alpha layers, indexing (not recommended for screenshots), or using the PNG Monster program to do the compressing. Until you learn to compress your large images, the smaller revisions will be used instead. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 17:44, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • A quick compression won't be as effective as a full compression. You need to use the highest compression setting to ensure that the image's file size will be greatly reduced. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:04, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • I fully compressed two of your revisions; your revision for File:FalseDiddy.png now uses around 2.08 MB, instead of around 4.87 MB. Now, I highly suggest that you download the PNG Monster before you continue your large image spree. Google it if you have to. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:38, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • Your False Diddy revision did take around 15 minutes to fully compress. That's the price for fully compressing PNG images, but it's worth it in the end. On a side note, my revisions don't lose that much memory when they're fully compressed, since they were made with the assistance of The GIMP. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:45, 29 August 2011 (EDT)
  • I looked at your Smash Wiki history, and I must say that it's rather poor. Apparently your uploads got reverted because they were too large. Listen to Goomba's Shoe15's words if I were you. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 20:09, 29 August 2011 (EDT)

Vandal Issues

  • Listen, I am not very pleased with your actions. I may have helped you with compressing your images, but if the other users think my revisions are better, then I'm on their side. Besides, your actions on the SmashWiki are telling me that you're not trustworthy. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 21:37, 30 August 2011 (EDT)
  • You're not making things better by arguing with me. Walkazo already gave you a warning, so I expect you to change your actions. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 22:06, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

Image Revisions

  • It's not a good idea to be tampering with game screenshots. The images you get from the games should stay as they are; for example, no brightness adjusting. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 17:28, 3 October 2011 (EDT)
  • I gave a message to SWFlash to see if he can cover the screenshots that you updated. Besides, some of your revisions were also reverted by Lindsay151. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 17:41, 3 October 2011 (EDT)
  • Either way, I still contacted SWFlash to see if he can do better. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 18:23, 3 October 2011 (EDT)

Fan art

And what game is it from? YoshiwakerTyranitar.png

Its from Mario Super Sluggers.
I know for a fact that it is a perfect match of this picture:

BananaYoshi.png

and I know that is fan art. So, theory disproved. Nice try :-/ YoshiwakerTyranitar.png

Seriously, man. Stop it. YoshiwakerTyranitar.png

  • If you continue to upload fan art that you're not going to use as personal images, I may have to block you. You're already warned by me for uploading Banjo images that aren't Mario related, so I suggest that you clean your act. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:04, 21 July 2011 (EDT)

You're here TOO?

You're messing up Smashwiki with the same crap these people have to deal with, and you come here during your block on SW? WOW. WikiofSmash[[Image:LemmyNSMBWii.png|20px]] "It's called society, ever heard of it?" 12:00, 26 July 2011 (EDT)

No no your not your not correct here and your not correct on the smashwiki Goomba's Shoe15 (talk)
You may have to go look up aspect ratio in Wikipedia. It will tell you more about them.

Warning

Warning.svg This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (edit warring) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

If four separate users are reverting your uploads, that's not an indication that they're vandals, but that you're the one making nonconstructive changes to the wiki. Continuously reverting their undoings of your uploads (and making threatening summaries to boot) is a form of edit warring, and is unacceptable behaviour: keep it up, and you will be the one who's blocked. - Walkazo 21:28, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

You will not report them anywhere because they did not cause the war: you did by repeatedly undoing their reversions. M&SG and GoombaShoe15 both talked to you about why your uploads weren't so great, but you obviously didn't take very much heed, because you kept on making changes that had to be reverted. If people restore things to the way they were before you changed them, bring it to the talk page to see why they did so and explain why you think your way is better, don't just re-make the changes and threaten to get them in trouble. And, since you didn't listen to me either and, once again, re-uploaded some files that the others reverted, here's a last warning:

Template:Lastwarn I'm serious, if you re-upload one more file without talking it over with the others and coming to an agreement first, you will be blocked for two weeks. - Walkazo 22:24, 30 August 2011 (EDT)

Vandal?

Reverting images isn't vandalizing. Dr.Wario ''Matching vitamins since never.'' 20:05, 31 August 2011 (EDT)

Bop1996 (Talk)

Be that as it may, editing other users' comments is not allowed under any circumstances I believe. I'll leave whether you need a block or not up to the admins; I'm only concerned with the editing of the comment. Bop1996 (Talk)
Yes, it's not allowed (unless you're fixing coding or upholding no-sig policies, but that's not the case here). Anyway, since Branondorf9999 received a Last Warning, these latest infractions (editing another user's comment, as well as reuploading images wrongly, sometimes repeatedly, after being told explicitly to talk about it first) earn him a Block, not just another Warning. Since he was already blocked once, the new block is three months long. The next block will be indefinite. - Walkazo 22:16, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
